A Little Bit About "Spectickles"
"Spectickles" is a cartoon primarily about a man and woman who are not only unfit for each other, they're largely unfit for anyone and anything else they encounter. Despite the odds, they remain together, lumps and all, slogging ungracefully through the challenges of life. The slouchy, jowly faces and dead-pan expressions were inspired by Walter Matthau and Ethel Merman, and the glasses were inspired by my great grandparents, the ultra-kind Hoyts. So there you have it, the background of "Spectickles". I hope you enjoy the cartoons, and I sincerely thank you for stopping by!
