Another fun thing about being a cartoonist is you get to draw things as you imagine them. You get to fill in the blanks when it comes to details others not might find occasion to think about. Thus, this morning, the Devil wears lederhosen. Just because.
This is an older "Spectickles" cartoon, but one I think is kind of funny. The absurdly understated responses to dramatic situations. Cracks me up every time.
As someone who loves the finer things in life: good food, wines, cigars, etc., this is exactly what I would expect if I ever climbed the mountain looking for the wise old Sherpa. This cartoon has been published several times and has been licensed for greeting cards and calendars.
I chuckled out loud when this cartoon came to me. I thought it would certainly relate to people who, like me, have absolutely the worst luck
